In an effort to try and keep track of all Villanovans around the Globe, we tried to do some research to see where the non-NBA professionals from 'Nova are and how they're doing. It took a while to compare former Villanova rosters to the multiple leagues around Europe, but here is what VUhoops.com has uncovered...
- Rafal Bigus plays for Kotwica Kołobrzeg in Poland. Everything is in polish, so I have no idea how he is doing.
- Michael Bradley can be found at BC Žalgiris, a Lithuanian powerhouse. He's averaging 8.5 pts in the Euroleague.
- Gary Buchanan is playing in Bulgaria for NYKK.
- Chuck Kornegay is now a Spanish citizen and plays for Palma Aqua Mágica in Mallorca.
- Brian Lynch married tennis pro Kim Clijsters in July. He plays for Euphony Bree in Belguim (Clijsters' hometown).
- Allan Ray is playing for Pallacanestro Virtus Roma in Italy's Serie A after signing a 2 year/$2m contract. The squad is in 2nd place and Ray is averaging 8.6pts, 2.7rebs, and 2.7asts.
- Brooks Sales is a starter for Snaidero Cucine Udine in Italy's Lega A. He's averaging 10.8 points a game.
- Andrew Sullivan was the MVP of the British League last year and was playing for DKV Joventut de Badalona in Spain.
- Curtis Sumpter was playing in Germany for Köln 99ers in the fall, but decided to leave for some unknown reason.
