Villanova, the 12th Seed in the Midwest bracket will take on the 5th-seeded (and 22nd ranked) Clemson Tigers. This is Villanova's 4th consecutive trip to the NCAAs while this is Clemson's first trip since 1998.
Jay Wright has never faced Clemson. Villanova is 3-0 All-Time against the Tigers from South Carolina (the last in December 1989).
Villanova has more wins than any other school as a lower seed in NCAA history (12).
